The Vidya Bodh Trust
Creating better opportunities through funding education initiatives in J&K
TVBT helps improve educational access for residents of Jammu & Kashmir through scholarships, school support, mentoring, and infrastructure initiatives.
Mission
Opening Doors to Learning
TVBT is a charity trust founded in memory of Prof Vidya Gupta and Shri Bodh Raj Gupta. Mrs. Vidya Gupta was the first woman principal of the Woman College in the erstwhile Jammu & Kashmir state, now a Union Territory, and she inspired a whole generation of students to excel.
She was awarded a public commendation for her services to the state. In her memory, her scions founded a charitable trust to pursue her wish that no girl should be left uneducated for want of financial crunch.
Hence The Vidya Bodh Trust was formed.
